Summer housewarming party! (aka bloggy giveaway!)

Hello dear readers and welcome to our new home, HDYDI.com!

To help launch our new site, we are proud to be hosting a summer giveaway. One lucky reader will win a tote bag filled with two kids’ beach towels, kids’ sunscreen, swim diapers, and some sand and water toys. The summer tote will be customized to the winner, so if you don’t need swim diapers, we’ll substitute something else.

There are FOUR ways you can help HDYDI get launched and earn entry into the giveaway:

3. Tweet about our site launch or this giveaway. Post your tweet in *another* comment on this post.

4. Write a post on your blog, linking to this giveaway or site, and leave *another* comment on this post.

Got that? Only comments on this post will be eligible in the giveaway,  but you can enter up to four times. Deadline for the giveaway is Wednesday, July 1 at midnight EST. Don’t forget to update your bookmarks, blogrolls, and feed readers.

  1. Followed you through the move; please sign me up for the drawing!

Big changes. I miss the old banner pic, of the mom holding a naked twin. Not that a new picture couldn’t be good, I just liked it better than the current cartoon. Also, I can’t always tell the authors in the new format. Some I know, but it’s nice to have the by-line.

    Congrats on your new home!

  2. Mom of twins here and really enjoy reading your blog/posts.

Thanks, Maureen (jnomaxx at hotmail dot com)

  3. Give aways are great, but I have always really enjoyed the quality of the content and comments on HDYDI. I don’t want to see this diluted by focusing on giveaways and entries like some of the other multiple blogs.

  4. I am loving the new site. Followed you over and through the setup. Thanks for getting me through our first year with twins. Girls turned one last week. You all are part of the reason my sanity is intact.
Please sign me up for the contest. YAY CONTESTS!

  5. Okay, and now I’ve tweeted about y’all. As a matter of fact, you’re my very first tweet. I’ve checked out twitter a few times, but just never felt the urge to tell the world what I’m up to. …

  6. I’m here, have been for 21 months now. I love the new site and the new blood. Mama to Jasper 6.5, Juliet 4.5 and Jack and Jordi 21 months.

  7. Here and enjoying reading about the adventures that await my 10 week old twins and me

  8. I’m still here. Have read every post since the beginning when I was 28 weeks pregnant with my boys :)

  9. Love the new look! Don’t remember how I found the site, but I have been a faithful reader and most-of-the-time lurker for many months! And yay for giveaways!

  10. Still here! I don’t know what I’d do without the words of wisdom, humor, and perspective from fellow MOMs here. My b/g twins will be 14 months in a couple of days and they’ll have their first pool experience July 4!

  11. I miss the old banner pic too; mostly because one of the babies looked like my son Jack! Keep up the good work! I’m enjoying the new (and old) writers.

  12. Does it count if I’m the aunt of 2-year-old twins and mommy to a 6- and 2-year-old? The site is great!

  13. Enjoying the transition from the old to the new site. I have 6 month old boy twins, a tw0-year old boy, and a four-year old boy.

  14. I followed you here and love reading the posts. I first came here for twins breastfeeding advice. 13 months later my twins are still breastfeeding and I’m still in need of advice.

  15. Someone just turned me on to your site recently and so far I am just loving it. Please include me in the giveaway! Thanks :)

    Wendy

  16. Love this site and have been following since it started! My twins are now 4 and life is much simpler, but I still love reading these stories to remind me of what I survived!

  17. Love the site. I’m a mom to 6 month old identical girls and a 6 year old girl. I couldn’t have gotten through this without knowing others have survived and lived to pass on their knowledge. I come here for great encouragement, tips, and laughs. Love it.

  18. Mom to 13-month-old b/g twins and a soon-to-be 7 year old girl! Your site always adds some much needed insight and/or humor to my day.

  19. I have almost two yr old twin boys and have been following this site since their birth! Thanks for all the great insight!! I like the new layout!

  20. I’ve been following the blog for over a year and totally love it. I have 21 mo old identical girl twins and appreciate learning from other twin parents!

  21. Love the upgrades to the site. I check everyday! And just shared the address with a friend of a friend who is having twins! I told her its a must read!

  22. Hi! New mother of fraternal twin sons who live in the high desert, so swim diapers aren’t so useful….

Love the blog. Great source of “Oh, good. It”s not just us.”

  23. I’m a new follower, only a month or so. SAHM to 8 month old b/g twins.
I celebrate any chance to connect to other MoM’s, and love hearing/complaining/showing pride in and about what a strange world life with multiples is.

  24. New to this blog…but love it! I have 4 year old twins (plus a 6 year old and a 3 year old). Life is never dull!

  25. I currently have three under three, six total, no multiples though. I cheat by claiming my Irish twins. After seeing the cost of swim diapers…and then realizing that I need them in three sizes, I just had to throw my name in.

  26. I recommend this blog to all my MOM friends and some of my singleton ones too! Some days I laugh and laugh when I read an entry…some days I shed a few tears. Keep up the excellent writing.
I also miss the banner on the old blog and the side section that gave some info on the writers.

  27. Hi, I’m here. Following you from the old site. The new banner makes me thing of those esurance commercials

  28. I found your blog in February of this year. I started reading all the back posts and I can’t tell you how many times I read a post and felt such a flood of relief to hear somebody else say the same things I say, feel the same things I’ve felt, deal with the same things I’ve dealt with, etc., etc. Our b/g twins were our first children and were born in Feb 2007. We have struggled with our friends and family who seem to have no idea what it’s like to have twins. It has been so validating, reassuring and empowering to read all these posts here at HDYDI. I wish I had found this blog much, much earlier. So I’m here to stay no matter how many times you change domains!

  29. I love this site! It cracks me up when I read the stories because nobody believes me when I tell the same thing. Now I have confirmation and laughter!!

I’m a SAHM of b/g twins and love every minute of it! (Well, most days at least!)

  30. Love reading all the posts. They have helped me survive the first 6 months with my identical twin girls and 2-yr old son.

  31. Thanks for this great blog. I have 30-month-old b/g twins. Please sign us up for the giveaway.
